Imagine receiving your APE results with a summary that was more than a paragraph long indicating multiple medical conditions such as Hypertension, Dyslipidemia, Eosinophilia, Mildly Enlarged Liver with Fatty Infiltration and a Gallbladder Polyp. Not to mention being Obese 1. One or two of these is enough to ring the bells for a lot of people, so imagine the shock and horror that came to Ric and his wife when they read it. This prompted Ric’s wife to push him to kickstart his fitness journey with us and safe to say, Ric’s in a much safer position now.
In a span of 5 months, Ric was able to shed off 31.7 lbs, dropping 2 sizes lower in his clothes. We were able to flatten much of his midsection and more importantly, we were able to improve Ric’s obese classification to just being overweight. All of this was done from a nutritional change alone. Zero workouts were implemented during the duration of his engagement!
It’s easy to take our health for granted especially when we’re young, unfortunately for a lot of us, regret comes sooner rather than later. Aside from the cost associated from all of these conditions may it be hospitalization or maintenance medicine, the lifespan obviously lessens and this is what we wish to prolong and protect. The good news is that for as long as we’re still living, it’s never too late to address our health issues, but it does require us to take that first step into eating healthier.
