Weight Change – 162 lbs to 152 lbs
A lot of times, people would obsess over their scale weight above all else and “Bryan” is just like one of those people. I was literally confused by what his goal was. He wanted to lose weight but not lose at all. He was afraid to look skinny and wasn’t keen on working out his legs because according to him, “it was already big enough.”
I would be doing everyone a disservice if I fail to deconstruct the misinformation present in the way he thinks about fitness. I believe people often forget the reason as to why they want to lose weight, which is frankly to look better. Quality of the weight loss is key. Fat loss is simply one component of weight loss, others would be water weight loss and a loss in muscle mass. I could actually make a client lose 10-15 lbs in 1-2 weeks if I wanted to by using a water manipulation technique, but everyone who’s familiar with that knows that it is temporary and would not really look as appealing as losing 10-15 lbs worth of fat mass.
Another thing that I want to point out is that you CANNOT site induce fat loss. it occurs all throughout your body and anyone who lets you do exercises or take in supplements to lose fat in a specific area is lying, unless of course you do liposuction. As long as you maintain a healthy nutrition, fat loss will eventually occur to hard to reach areas in your body, you just need to be patient and be consistent.
Overall, I’m quite happy with Bryan’s results. The quality of the weight loss is very much apparent if you would analyze his before and after photo. I would also like to take this opportunity to warn the public that HERBALIFE and USANA products DO NOT work. I have several clients who got victimized by their unprofessional modus and “sales talk”. Just because something is expensive does not make it good/better.
