Weight Change – 149.5 lbs to 138.2 lbs

Most people would associate scale weight changes with progress and while this is factual to a degree, it’s not necessarily the case as we can easily lose “scale weight” alone from water manipulation. Boxers/MMA fighters do this prior to a weigh in and easily gain it back right after. We always remind our clients that losing weight alone does not mean anything unless it is done the right way.

So WHAT is the right way? Well, the right way is “inclusive”. It does not remove any of the three macronutrients(protein, carbs and fat) from the diet as all of these are essential. It does not cause hunger WITH lethargy and instead make you feel full and energetic. Most importantly, the right way does not have a name. You can’t put a label for proper nutrition, most of those that has a “name” are nothing more than marketing gimmicks. Precise computations would be the name of the game so make sure that you do not fall for these gimmicks.

Clay’s transformation is still ongoing, but based on her current progress, she’s definitely much leaner with her stomach bloating almost gone in a span of a few months! Her back fat has clearly been reduced as seen in her side profile, her arms are more defined and more importantly, she feels full all the time. No hunger spikes or any of the sort! 11.3 lbs in weight loss may not seem much, but when you factor in the quality of the said changes, numbers become irrelevant.

By the end of the day, you don’t get to show people the number on the scale, you simply show yourself. Quality over quantity. Visual changes over scale weight changes. Fad diets may show scale weight improvements but it will surely be inferior when you get to check the visuals.
