Most Hyperthyroidism cases involve the person losing a whole lot of weight, but there is a statistic of around 10-15% of those with Hyperthyroidism that gain weight instead. This is the case for Angelica and regardless if it’s hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism, having thyroid issues is a difficult task to fix especially when it comes to leaning up. The key word being “difficult” and not “impossible”.

What started out as a gentle push from her husband SJ, to join him in his own fitness journey eventually became her own as she saw the progress after her month 1! This eventually made her realize the positive impact in her body and took the challenge more willingly as the months go by. Of course it wasn’t an overnight transformation as it took her 10 months in its entirety to get to this point. Now that we’re on our last leg, we have reintegrated cheat snacks and are now in the process of ensuring that once she graduates, her progress will not be negatively impacted despite eating foods which are considered “cheats” or “bad”.
