First and foremost, we would like to give Melinda our deepest respect as a fellow fitness professional. One of the common misconceptions people have on fitness professionals is that we know it all and this could be farther from the truth. Coaches are humans too and as such we have our own struggles within our respective fitness journey.

Like a huge percentage of women suffering from PCOS, Melinda found herself at that point of desperation that she just wanted to try whatever is there to take control over her body against this medical condition. PCOS makes it difficult for women to lose weight and in most cases even causes them to gain due to hormonal imbalance. Most would think that these people simply needed to put in more effort but that’s not really the problem here. Melinda, herself put in the work day in day out, she tried various dieting methods and supplements all of which didn’t work.

If it’s not effort, then what is it? To put it in perspective, you don’t fix a flat tire by trying to fix the engine. You fix a flat tire by fixing the flat tire. The problem lies with the method these people follow. It’s not that they don’t put in the effort, it’s just that the method that they follow just does not work. Most of them are fad diets and some are extreme ones which are quite dangerous.

In a span of 2 months, we managed to lose 5.7 lbs which is nothing extraordinary but looking at Melinda’s visual changes and you can clearly see that this 5.7 lbs is quality weight being shed. Her midsection’s silhouette is starting to shape up showing her abs and from the side view you can clearly see that her overall thickness especially from the arms and the waist has reduced. Considering that she’s suffering from PCOS, 2 months with such a visual transformation isn’t something to be taken lightly. As a matter of fact, her transformation is one of the top ones we’ve seen so far this 2019!

We do hope that Melinda’s transformation will give hope to anyone of you suffering from PCOS, and to those of you who are simply struggling with their fitness goals. It’s not easy but it’s not impossible too. You just really need the right guidance to get through it!
