Nica Ochoa
34 Years Old, Store Manager
Weight Change – 119.8 lbs to 114 lbs

Nica’s transformation is one concrete example as to why you SHOULD NOT base your progress on scale weight changes alone. Week per week, Nica’s compliance was more or less dangling around 70-80%. She’s not the most compliant client we had and her week on week weight report was “demotivating” or it was at least how she put it. Her weight wasn’t changing and for the most part it would improve and then fluctuate back up. She had a bad habit of checking her weight everyday and this further demotivated her until she saw her visual changes during our month end.

Weight naturally fluctuates and this is the reason as to why we only conduct weight checks once a week, usually when conducted on the same day every week, this would more or less cancel out the fluctuations, although not completely. This however, will give us a more accurate reading on a client’s weight movement. One look at Nica’s transformation and you can see as to how much of an improvement it was in terms of her overall thickness. Her back fat and bulging tummy was clearly reduced resulting to an improvement in her body’s curvature and overall structure. The best part was she’s not even fully compliant yet and this all occurred in a month’s time!

We always remind clients to never base progress on weight changes alone as this is the most archaic way of progress measurement. Always aim for quality and not quantity. If you’re enlightened and would like to cut out the misconceptions and fad diets, then look no further.
