Abs. Those three letters probably sums up a lot of people’s fitness goals and we get asked a lot if it’s possible for someone coming from the bigger side to attain it in a span of months and our usual response would be “it depends”.

It depends on a variety of factors but primarily it depends on the current fitness level of the client. Our answer would differ for a 200 lb guy vs a 170 lb guy with the same height. But more than this, there are limitations as to how much a person can shed at a particular time without triggering loose skin and this is what we’re after. If you are to look at Joyce’s transformation, you will see that it is as clean as it gets!

6 months and 14.4 lbs later, she didn’t expect to have a solid midsection, though she did wish for it. And as check on her progress, month per month it became apparent that her goal body was within reach. As you can see, the photos bared it all. Her curves are there, free from any unnecessary fat mass, not to mention her abs are as clear as day and her overall thickness is quite lean! It wasn’t all that difficult to get to this part, but it wasn’t as easy as some people might think. We’re quite proud that Joyce was able to pull this off!

Overall, a bit of tip from our coaching team, if you’re seeking to have abs, always remember that the secret isn’t with the number of crunches or abdominal exercises you do as the secret is in your nutrition.
